the S1 bus to Oxford and Witney
The S1 bus (until 2009 the 100 bus) is the main connection to the rest of the world (Oxford and Witney in the first instance). It runs at roughly 15-minute intervals during the day, half-hourly in the evenings, and every 10 mins in rush hours. Once in Oxford it has its own bus-lane and bus-controlled traffic lights. At the Church stops there are Timing Boards which tell you how long till the next bus (see right- often (maybe usually) it shows the number of minutes you have to wait till the next bus).

Eynsham is lucky to have a bus-service like this - although the timings are often erratic and the prices are rather high.

Visitors and occasional users are advised to sit in the front row on the top deck - to get the most out of the startling roller-coaster ride through the English countryside between Eynsham and Oxford..
