Pegasus Theatre, Oxford - youth theatre - often high quality shows
The Theatre, Chipping Norton - one of the most attractive theatres in England - well worth a visit (35 minutes by car from Eynsham - no easy public transport) - a wide variety of touring plays, concerts - also films. But they don't stay on for more than a day or two - apart from the annual pantomime (highly recommended) which stays on for several weeks.
The Watermill, Newbury - another of the most attractive theatres in England (35 minutes by car from Eynsham - no easy public transport) - own productions which stay on for several weeks. The theatre and setting are so good that it's almost worth going once whatever's on.
